Barry Silbert is a pioneering figure in digital currency and blockchain technology. In 2020, Silbert guided his companies through a thriving crypto currency bull market. Grayscale revived its “drop gold” campaign with a 30-second TV ad as Bitcoin prices soared in December. DCG underwent significant expansion, venturing into the cryptocurrency mining sector through its subsidiary Foundry and acquiring the cryptocurrency exchange Luno.The acquisition aimed to boost Luno’s customer base with DCG’s full support.
